Privacy policy

Last updated: October 31, 2026

Qrulla is a database client that runs on your computer. Your databases and what you do with them never go through our servers; we only use the data your account and license need. It is all here, no fine print.

01Who is responsible

Qrulla is a product of Latecnology. For any question about your data, write to support@qrulla.com.

02What never leaves your computer

  • Your databases, tables, rows and results.
  • Your queries, scripts and history.
  • Your connections: servers, users, ports and SSH tunnels.
  • Your database and SSH passwords: they are kept in the system keychain (macOS Keychain, Windows Credential Manager or the Linux keyring) and never reach our servers.

If you export your connections to a file, that file stays wherever you save it; passwords in it are encrypted with the key you choose.

03Your account data

  • Your email, to sign in, get notices about your license and recover access.
  • Your name, only if you enter it in your account.
  • Your Qrulla password, stored only as an Argon2id hash: no one can read it, not even us.
  • If you turn on two-step verification, its secret, encrypted, and your backup codes as hashes.
  • The date you accepted the terms and your open sessions.

04Data about each computer

When Qrulla validates your license it sends:

  • A computer identifier derived from the machine's: it cannot be reversed and does not identify you outside Qrulla.
  • The computer's name, so you can recognize it in your list of computers.
  • The operating system and the Qrulla version.

With that we count how many computers each license uses, give one 14-day trial per computer and let you release a computer from your account. We also keep the first and last time each computer was validated.

05Payments

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, acting as merchant of record. We never see your card details: Lemon Squeezy tells us the purchase email, the plan and the order or subscription numbers, so we can activate your license.

06Emails

We only write about your account and license: verifying your email, resetting your password and renewal or expiry notices. We send no advertising. Emails are sent through Resend.

07Website, downloads and updates

  • This site uses no tracking cookies, analytics or ads.
  • For downloads we only count how many there are per day and per system, with no personal data.
  • Qrulla checks now and then for a new version; that request carries neither your account nor your data. The copy installed from the Microsoft Store does not: the Store updates it.
  • Like any server, our provider sees the IP address of each visit or request in its technical logs.

08Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent your data. Only the providers that run the service work with it, each for its own part:

  • Cloudflare: hosts the site, the license server, its database and the downloads.
  • Lemon Squeezy: payments, invoices and subscriptions.
  • Resend: sending emails.

We may hand over data when an authority lawfully requires it.

09How long we keep it

For as long as you have your account. If you ask us to delete it, we delete your account, your sessions and your computers. We keep only what the law requires about purchases, and Lemon Squeezy keeps its own payment records.

10Your rights

You can view and correct your name and password from your account, release your computers and download your invoices. To get a copy of your data, correct anything else or delete your account, write to support@qrulla.com from your account's email; we answer within 30 days.

11Changes to this policy

If something important changes, we email you before it applies. The date above shows the latest version.
